Sunday Dress

The Sunday Dress is knitted from the top down. The yoke is knitted in the round in ribbing with increases. The skirt and sleeves are knitted in stockinette stitch and both finished with a garter edge. The neckline is folded down and sewn to the wrong side, creating a channel for a casing cord – this makes the dress easy to pull over the head while helping it retain its shape when worn. The skirt of the Sunday Dress has a lovely A-line shape.
