Alpaca Silk

There is currently a global shortage of alpaca wool. This is because the animals have not been able to be shorn due to weather conditions in South America. We therefore have low stock of certain colours, and replenishment will not be possible until after Easter. Please contact us if the colour you are interested in has low stock to avoid ordering and receiving a different dye lot.

Contents: 70% Baby Alpaca, 30% Mulberry Silk
Weight/length: 50 grams = approx. 200 metres
Recommended needles: 3 mm
Gauge: 10 cm = 27 sts
Washing instructions: 30°C (wool cycle)

An exclusive and incredibly soft yarn with a beautiful sheen.
Spun from the finest baby alpaca and mulberry silk.
Ideal for baby and children's clothing, as well as adult clothing and accessories.

Wash at 30°C on a wool cycle.
Use a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener! Do not tumble dry!
