Kleiva Jacket
The jacket is knitted from the top down in Thin Peer Gynt.
First, cast on stitches for the left front piece, sleeves, back piece, right front piece, and center front buttonholes. Then knit in the round following the chart, while increasing for the raglan and V-neck. The work is divided into sleeves, front piece, and back piece. The front and back pieces are knitted in the round following the chart. The buttonhole stitches are cast off before the reverse stockinette ribbing is knitted back and forth. The sleeves are knitted in the round following the chart before finishing with a ribbing. Finally, machine-sewn seams are sewn on each side of the buttonholes, and the garment is cut open between the seams. The front edge is finally knitted in double stockinette and knitted securely to the jacket at the same time.
