Your Peplum Cardigan Baby
The cardigan is knitted from the top down in Line.
First, stitches are cast on for the back and sleeves. It is increased for the raglan, and new stitches are cast on for the front pieces to create a deeper neckline at the front. The front edges, front and back pieces are knitted together, and buttonholes are knitted on the right front piece. When the yoke is finished, stitches are cast off for the sleeves, and the front and back pieces are knitted separately. It is increased to create the ruffle and cast off to a firm edge that does not curl. The sleeves are knitted in the round in stockinette stitch and finished with the same edge as the front and back pieces. Finally, an i-cord edge is knitted around the neck.
