Fillip Sweater Junior
The sweater is knitted from the top down using the pattern chart in Mandarin Petite.
First, stitches are cast on for the back piece, which is knitted down to the underarms. Next, stitches are increased along each shoulder of the front piece. Stitches are decreased and increased towards the neck while knitting in the round. The front pieces are then joined together and knitted down to the underarms before being joined to the back piece. The front and back pieces are knitted in the round and finished with ribbing. Stitches are cast on around the armholes and the sleeves are knitted in the round with pattern. Stitches are evenly decreased down the sleeves before they are finished with ribbing. The neckline is finally knitted. The entire sweater is knitted with double yarn.
