The Oslo Sweater is knitted from the top down. First, the back piece is knitted back and forth on a circular needle, first with increases at each end of the needle and then straight down. Next, stitches are picked up for the shoulder sections, which are first knitted separately before being joined together to form the front piece. The back and front pieces are joined under the armholes to form the body, which is knitted in the round on a circular needle with decreases. The sleeves and neckline are knitted last from picked-up stitches.

Size Guide

The Oslo Sweater should have a positive ease of approx. 20–25 cm relative to your bust measurement. The fit is oversized. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured around your body, of 80–85 (85–90) 90–95 (95–100) 100–110 (110–120) 120–130 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size suits you best. If you, for example, measure 88 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has a width of 110 cm and will provide a positive ease of 22 cm in the example above.
