Olga Jacket

Olga Jacket is knitted from the top down with stripes. First, the top part of the back is knitted back and forth, and a shoulder shaping is formed using short rows, while stripes are knitted. Then the shoulders are knitted back and forth separately on a circular needle. The front pieces and back are then joined to knit the body, which is knitted back and forth on a circular needle with stripes. The sleeves are knitted from the outside from stitches picked up along the armhole. The button band and ribbing at the neck are knitted last from picked up stitches.

Size guide

Olga Jacket should have a movement allowance (positive ease) of approx. 23 cm in the smallest sizes, but gradually less in the larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished cardigan are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. If you, for example, measure 95 cm around the bust (or the widest part of the body), you should knit a size M. A cardigan in size M has a width of 118 cm and will give the mentioned example a movement allowance (positive ease) of 23 cm.
