October Sweater

October Sweater is knitted from the top down in stockinette stitch. First, it is knitted back and forth to shape the neckline, after which the work is joined together so that the rest of the yoke is knitted in the round on circular needles with raglan increases. The sleeves and body are finished with wide ribbing in double ribbing. The neck ribbing is knitted last and folded over. October Sweater is an oversized model – go down a size if you prefer a less oversized fit.

October Sweater should have a positive ease of approx. 30 cm relative to your bust measurement. The fit is oversized. If you prefer a less oversized look, you can go down a size. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement, measured around the body, of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size suits you best. If you, for example, measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has a width of 120 cm and will give a positive ease of 30 cm in the above example.
