The Sockan Mylla

Sockan Mylla is knitted from the cuff down to the toe with a simple and classically beautiful cable pattern on the top of the sock and with a contrasting colour on the cuff, toe and reinforced heel. 

The pattern is designed for the Magic Loop technique, but can of course also be knitted with five sock needles if desired. 

Gauge 

25 stitches and 34 rows = 10*10 cm after blocking. 

Size

Circumference of foot and cuff: approx. 17.5cm, (19cm), 21cm. 

The length of the foot is adjustable. 

Yarn

Sock yarn approx. 200m/100g tex Perfect or Spöt from Sandnes Garn alternatively sock yarn approx. 400m/100g knitted with two strands. 

Main colour: approx. 60g/65g/75g. 
Pattern colour: approx. 20g/30g/35g. 

Keep in mind that yarn usage varies depending on how long the foot is knitted.
