The Square Sock

Sockan Kvadrat is toe-up, with a beautiful square pattern that runs along the foot all the way up to the cuff. The instructions are written for the magic loop technique, but can of course also be knitted with five sock needles if desired. 

Gauge

38 stitches and 48 rows = 10*10 cm after blocking. 

Size

Foot and cuff circumference: 
XS: 15cm, fits foot with 15-17cm circumference. 
S: 17cm, fits foot with 17-19cm circumference. 
M: 19cm, fits foot with 19-21cm circumference. 
L: 21cm, fits foot with 21-23cm circumference. 

The length of the foot is adjustable. 

Yarn

Sock yarn 350 - 420 m/100 g. For example:

Sisu from Sandnes Garn, 175 m/50 g or
Meilenweit 50 Cashmere or Meilenweit 50 Uni from Lana Grossa, 210 m/50 g

Keep in mind that yarn usage varies depending on how long the foot is knitted.
