Weekend Sweater

This knitting pattern is in Swedish.
The Weekend Sweater is knitted from the top down. First, the top part of the back is knitted back and forth with short rows to create a shoulder slope. Then the shoulder sections are knitted, which are then joined at the front to knit the front piece. The front piece and back are then joined to form the body, which is knitted in the round on circular needles. The sleeves are knitted out from the picked-up stitches along the armhole and knitted in the round on circular needles or double-pointed needles or with Magic Loop technique. The ribbed neckline is knitted last.

Size guide
The Weekend Sweater should have a movement allowance (positive ease) of approx. 30 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured directly on the body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. If you, for example, measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has a width of 120 cm and will in the mentioned example give a movement allowance (positive ease) of 30 cm.
The model in the picture wears a size XS, has a bust measurement of 82 cm and is 164 cm tall.
