The Poppy Tee is knitted from the top down. First, the upper part of the back is knitted with increases. Then, the shoulder sections are knitted from the outside using the stitches picked up at the top of the back piece. The stitches are then picked up along the shoulder sections and the rest of the yoke is knitted together on the circular needles, first back and forth and then in the round. The body is knitted in the round on circular needles and the sleeves are knitted in the round on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop technique. Finally, a double-folded ribbing edge with built-in double knitting is knitted around the neckline.

Knit a gauge swatch to find the needle size that gives you the correct gauge. Wash the gauge swatch before measuring the gauge. If you are knitting with the recommended yarn, please note that it may stretch after washing, so it is important to wash the gauge swatch before measuring the gauge.

Size Guide

The Poppy Tee should have a positive ease of approximately 5 cm. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured on the body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished blouse are given on the front of the pattern. Note: These measurements only apply if the gauge is maintained. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A blouse in size S has a width of 96 cm and will give a positive ease of 6 cm in the above example.
