This knitting pattern is in Swedish.
The Ingrid Sweater Baby is knitted from the top down using textured knitting. First, the back is knitted using short rows to shape the shoulder slope. Then, stitches are picked up for the shoulder sections, which are then joined at the front to knit the front piece. The front and back pieces are then joined under the armhole to knit the body, which is knitted straight down. The sleeves are knitted in the round on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop technique. Ribbing is knitted at the neck, which is folded in half and knitted down. The Ingrid Sweater Baby is knitted using textured knitting, which consists of three different pattern sections. Between each of these, a section of lace pattern is knitted.
Make a gauge swatch before you start knitting to measure the gauge. Note that the gauge must match in both height and width for the dimensions given for the front to be correct.
