This knitting pattern is in Swedish.

The Zipper Jacket is knitted from the top down. First, the back is knitted, and then the two front pieces. Before the body is completed, double-knit front edges are knitted on the yoke, and the stitches from here are then incorporated into the body stitches. The double-knit front edges appear as stockinette stitch on both the right and wrong sides.

The jacket fastens at the front with a zipper, and a zipper placket is knitted before it is attached.

The sleeves are knitted in the round from the cuffs. Finally, the inner pockets are knitted from the outside using picked-up stitches on the front of the jacket.

Knit a gauge swatch to find the needle size that gives you the correct gauge.

Size Guide

The Zipper Jacket should have a movement allowance (positive ease) of approx. 35 cm relative to your bust measurement. The fit is oversized. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished jacket are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. If you, for example, measure 88 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A jacket in size S has a width of 123 cm and will give the mentioned positive ease (positive ease) of 35 cm.

The model in the picture is wearing a size XS, has a bust measurement of 82 cm and is 164 cm tall.
