This knitting pattern is in Swedish.

The Chestnut Sweater is knitted from the top down. First, the top part of the back is knitted back and forth, while the shoulder slope is shaped with short rows for a good fit. Next, the shoulder sections are knitted back and forth separately on circular needles. These are joined at the front to form the front piece. The front piece and back are then joined to form the body, which is knitted in the round on circular needles. The sleeves are knitted out from the picked-up stitches along the armhole and knitted in the round on circular needles or double-pointed needles or with Magic Loop technique. The large polo collar is knitted last out from the picked-up stitches.

Size guide

The Chestnut Sweater should have a range of motion (positive ease) of approx. 30 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The fit is oversized. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured on your own body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself, before you start knitting, to find the size that suits you best. If you, for example, measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has a width of 120 cm and will give the mentioned example a range of motion (positive ease) of 30 cm.
