This knitting pattern is in Swedish.

The Northland Sweater is knitted from the top down, first back and forth on circular needles to shape the neckline, and then in the round on circular needles. The yoke is constructed by first knitting shoulder increases on the right and wrong sides. Then sleeve increases are knitted, and finally, a section with classic raglan increases is knitted. Finally, the neck ribbing is knitted from picked-up stitches. The sleeves are knitted in the round on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop technique. The Northland Sweater is seamless.

Knit a gauge swatch to find the right needle size that gives you the correct gauge. Note that the gauge swatch should be washed and blocked before you measure the gauge, as the recommended yarn grows after washing.

Size guide

The Northland Sweater should have an ease of approx. 10 cm relative to the recipient's bust measurement. Sizes S (M) L (XL) 2XL correspond to a bust measurement of around 90 (95) 100 (110) 120 cm. Measure the recipient with a measuring tape before you start knitting to assess which size fits best. If they measure 100 cm around the chest, for example, you should knit size L.
