Friday Slipover V-neck

This knitting pattern is in Swedish.

The Friday Slipover V-neck is knitted from the top down in ribbing. First, the back piece is knitted, then the two shoulder sections, and finally the body. Ribbed edges are knitted along the V-neckline and armholes. The neck ribbing is knitted with decorative decreases at the center front.

Make a gauge swatch before you start. Note that ribbing stretches during washing/use. Therefore, you can expect the gauge before washing/use to be around 24-25 stitches per 10 cm, and after washing/use to stretch to 22 stitches per 10 cm. Maintaining the gauge is essential for the shoulder width and fit. Therefore, wash the gauge swatch before measuring the gauge.

Size Guide

The Friday Slipover V-neck should have a range of movement (positive ease) of approximately 6 cm relative to your bust measurement. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to bust measurements of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size suits you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit size S, which has a circumference of 96 cm.
