Aros Sweater
Couldn't load pickup availability
Aros Sweater is knitted from the top down, first back and forth on the circular needles to shape the neckline, and then in the round on the circular needles. The yoke is constructed by first knitting shoulder increases on the right and wrong sides. Then sleeve increases are knitted, and finally a section with raglan increases is knitted. The ribbing of the neck is knitted last from the picked-up stitches and folded in half. The sleeves are knitted in the round on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop technique.
Aros Sweater has stripes in eight different colors. The sweater can also be knitted in a solid color or in stripes with fewer different colors.
Knit a gauge swatch to find the knitting size that gives you the correct gauge.
If you want an Aros Dress instead of an Aros Sweater, simply extend the body to dress length.
Size Guide
Aros Sweater should have a range of movement (positive ease) of approx. 6 cm relative to your bust measurement. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured on your own body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern (note that these measurements only apply if the gauge is maintained). Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size suits you best. If you, for example, measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit size S. A sweater in size S has a width of 95 cm and will give a range of movement (positive ease) of 5 cm in the example above. If you extend it to dress length, the range of movement (positive ease) around the hips should be 0 cm or greater.
