This knitting pattern is in Danish.

The September Jacket is knitted from the top down in stockinette stitch using one strand of Tunn and two strands of Tynn Silk Mohair. First, the back piece is knitted, followed by the right shoulder section and the left shoulder section. These three pieces are joined to knit the body, which is knitted back and forth in stockinette stitch. The sleeves are knitted from the outside using picked-up stitches in the armholes. Finally, ribbing is knitted along the front edges of the jacket to form button plackets, as well as around the neckline. The pockets are also knitted in stockinette stitch and sewn on last. The jacket fastens at the front with large press studs.

Make a gauge swatch before you start knitting to find the needle size that gives you the correct gauge. Please note that the gauge swatch should be washed and blocked before you measure the gauge. This is important, as stockinette stitch expands after washing and wear.

Size Guide

The September Jacket should have a movement allowance (positive ease) of around 5-8 cm. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL correspond to a bust measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm. Measure yourself with a tape measure before you start knitting so you can assess which size suits you best. Example: you measure 94 cm around the bust (or stomach, if that is the widest part of your body). This means you should knit size M.
