Anker's Dress is knitted from the top down. The yoke consists of ribbed sections with increases followed by raglan increases. There is a buttonhole at the neck with a small button at the top. The dress has a lovely A-line shape, giving it a classic and timeless look. You can easily vary the length of the skirt so that it fits the child you are knitting for perfectly.

Gauge: 28 stitches x 38 rows in stockinette stitch on 3 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Knitting needles: 3 mm circular needles (40, 60 or 80-100 cm), 2.5 mm circular needles (80-100 cm); 3 mm and 2.5 mm double-pointed needles (if not knitting using the magic loop-technique)
