The Stockholm Hat

The Stockholm hat is a thick and warm hat, inspired by the fashion in Stockholm. The Stockholm hat is knitted in two strands, from the bottom up in ribbing. To achieve a nice and tight ribbing even when worn, the hat's size is adjusted with an internal ribbing thread. This also ensures a good fit. The hat should be worn so that it sits on top of the head.

Measurements: Fits a head circumference of 54 ? 60 cm

Gauge: 28 stitches x 27 rows in ribbing (1 knit, 1 purl) on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Knitting suggestions: 4 mm circular needle (40 cm), 4 mm double-pointed needles
