Grib Barnet - inspired by the Grib Garnet shawl.
If you would like to knit a baby blanket as a gift, and do not know whether it will be a boy or a girl, this blanket is quite gender-neutral and will please anyone.
The baby blanket can be knitted in either Geilsk Tynd uld or in Geilsk Bomuld and uld on needles size 3 or 3½. The qualities each stand out in that the Thin wool makes the blanket lovely and light and the Cotton and wool is wonderfully soft.
The pattern is graphic in knit and purl stitches, and the pattern is mostly written from a chart that is repeated.
Yarn requirements:
Thin Wool: 5 skeins
Cotton Wool: 6 skeins
