Nordic knitting patterns have been immensely popular in the knitting world for many years, both in Sweden and abroad.
In this book, the author has been inspired by a number of historical originals she has gained access to from museums across the Nordic countries, creating modern chart patterns from them so that they can live on for many years to come.

This may include the sunwheel from Gotland, the Swedish national emblem mittens from Västergötland, or the water-skiing pattern from Finland.
