Finally, it's time for our fourth pattern booklet! We are following up ARV with a fantastic collaboration that we are very proud of: Norway's perhaps brightest design star right now!
Birger Berge started by designing hats and mittens for himself, and is now one of Norway's most popular pattern designers. Birger thinks his signature is traditional Norwegian garments in classic Nordic patterns.
For this collection, Birger has drawn inspiration from traditional knitting and weaving patterns. He wants the patterns to always be simple and rhythmic to knit. This can be seen, for example, in the weaving-inspired sweater pattern, which consists of simple repeats.
