Franky is a design that suits many different body types. Many may not think that a design can look good in different sizes, depending on the look you want the design to have. If you are a size S, you may want to knit the garment in M or L if you want a more oversized look.
We are all different, and the great thing about knitting it yourself is that you can make it exactly how you like it.
In recent years, knitting from the top down has become very popular. One of the reasons people prefer this is that you can try on the garment along the way and finish the sleeves and body when it fits you best. For those who prefer to knit from the bottom up, we have also created a pattern for this. Franky is knitted in Alpaca Silk, one version with single yarn and one version with Alpaca Silk together with Thin Silk Mohair as a companion yarn. Many people find that the stitches look more even when using a companion yarn, but choose what you like best.
