Ivy Top

The Ivy Top is knitted from the top down. The top is constructed by first knitting the shoulder increases and short rows, and then knitting the front and back separately back and forth on the needles. The front and back are then joined to form the body, and it is knitted in the round on circular needles.
Make a gauge swatch to find the needle size that gives you the correct gauge. Wash the gauge swatch, as the recommended yarn may stretch during washing and wear.
Size Guide
The Ivy Top should have a negative ease of approx. -6 cm relative to your bust measurement. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75-80 (80 85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished top are given on the front of the pattern (note that these measurements only apply if the gauge is maintained). Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will suit you best. If you, for example, measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A top in size S has a width of 84 cm and will in the stated example give a negative ease of -6 cm.
