Hazel Neck

This knitting pattern is in Swedish.

Hazel Neck is knitted from the top down. First, the back is knitted, followed by the shoulder sections and the front piece. Finally, stitches are picked up for the polo collar. This is folded in half and knitted down the wrong side.

Knit a gauge swatch to find the needle size that gives you the correct gauge. Wash and block the gauge swatch before measuring the gauge.

Please note that if you choose to knit in a different yarn than the recommended one, you should choose a yarn where the ribbing “relaxes/opens up” after washing.

Sizes: XS/S (M/L)

Measurements: Length: 50 (55) cm (center back without polo collar)

Shoulder width: approx. 41 (47) cm

Gauge: 20 stitches x 28 rows in ribbing (3 rt, 3 purl) on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm after washing and blocking

Knitting suggestions: 4 mm circular needles (60 cm), 3.5 mm circular needles (40 cm)

Materials: 250 (250) g Cool Wool Big from Lana Grossa (50 g = 125 m) or KlompeLompe Spöt from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 135 m) knitted together with 75 (75) g Silkhair from Lana Grossa (25 g = 210 m) or Thin Silk Mohair from Sandnes Garn (25 g = 212 m)
