Léttlopi consists of pure Icelandic sheep's wool of the highest quality. The wool is purchased directly from sheep farmers, treated, spun and dyed at one of Iceland's few remaining spinning mills in Mosfellsbær, which dates back to the 1800s.
The Icelandic wool is spun with two different fibers ? the soft, shorter undercoat and the longer, coarser outer coat. This unique composition gives a yarn that is warm, while also being breathable. Your finished garments will be light, while also being wonderfully cozy. When you want a beautiful garment that can withstand the Nordic cold, Léttlopi yarn is for you. In addition, there are plenty of wonderful colors to choose from!
