Esther Vest
Couldn't load pickup availability
Esther Vest is knitted from the top down in textured stitches. First, the top part of the back is knitted with increases. Then, the shoulder sections are knitted outwards from the stitches picked up at the top of the back piece. The body is knitted back and forth. A ribbed edge is knitted along the armholes. Finally, button bands and a ribbed edge at the neck are knitted.
Make a gauge swatch to find the needle size that gives you the correct gauge. You can make a gauge swatch following the diagrams in the knitting pattern.
Size Guide
Esther Vest should have a movement allowance (positive ease) of approx. 6 cm. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished vest are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. If you, for example, measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A vest in size S has a width of 96 cm and will, in the above example, provide a movement allowance (positive ease) of 6 cm.
