Dagmar Zipper Sweater Man

The Dagmar Zipper Sweater Man is knitted from the top down in textured stitches. First, the upper part of the back is knitted. Then, the shoulder sections are knitted outwards from the stitches picked up along the top of the back piece. The body is knitted in the round on circular needles. The sleeves are knitted in the round on circular needles from the stitches picked up in the armhole. Finally, a ribbed edge is knitted around the neck, as well as double-knit edges at the front, where the zipper is attached.

The Dagmar Zipper Sweater Man should have approximately 20 cm of room to move (positive ease). Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured around the body, of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) 119-124 (124-132) 132-144 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. If you, for example, measure 105 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size L. A size L sweater has a width of 125 cm and will, in the above example, provide 20 cm of room to move (positive ease).
