Dagmar Zipper Sweater

The Dagmar Zipper Sweater is knitted from the top down in textured stitches. First, the top part of the back is knitted with increases. Then, the shoulder sections are knitted from the stitches picked up along the top of the back piece. The body is knitted in the round on circular needles. The sleeves are knitted in the round on circular needles from the stitches picked up in the armhole. Finally, a ribbed edge is knitted at the neck, as well as double-knit edges at the front, where the zipper is attached.

Size Guide

The Dagmar Zipper Sweater should have a positive ease of approx. 26 cm in the smallest sizes, but gradually less in the larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. If you, for example, measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of the body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has a width of 116 cm and will give a positive ease of 26 cm in the above example.
