A frame with hinges to use for handbags that you sew, crochet or knit. If you want to sew it into a channel, loosen the pin in the hinge to separate the frames and insert them into the channel one by one. Then reattach them with the pin. This type of frame is sometimes called a “doctor bag frame”, clutch frame, hinged frame or handbag frame. The hinge may need to be oiled to stay in shape for longer. The handbag frame is available in 3 different sizes, but this size is 19.5 x 9.5 cm and is approx. 1 cm thick. The frame is made of lightweight aluminum and has a slightly rounded shape.
