Celeste Sweater Man

The Celeste Sweater Man is knitted from the top down with a round yoke. First, a double-ribbed neckline is knitted, and then the yoke is knitted in pattern with 5 different colours according to the chart. Short rows are worked after the yoke pattern to make the back higher and thus create a good fit. The body and sleeves are knitted in the round in stockinette stitch and both are finished with a ribbing.
Please note that pattern knitting often requires a needle size 0.5–1 mm larger than solid stockinette stitch. Therefore, make a gauge swatch in both pattern knitting and solid stockinette stitch before you start knitting.
The pattern includes charts with colours from the blue Celeste Sweater Man as well as uncoloured charts, which can be coloured according to your own preferences.
Size Guide
The Celeste Sweater Man should have a positive ease of approx. 10–15 cm relative to your bust measurement. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured around the body, of 86–91 (91–96) 96–101 (101–107) 107–113 (113–119) 119–124 (124–132) 132–144 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will suit you best. If you, for example, measure 103 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit size L. A sweater in size L has a width of 119 cm and will give a positive ease of 16 cm in the above example.
