The Celeste Sweater is knitted from the top down with a round yoke. First, the neckline is knitted, and then the yoke is knitted in the round in a colorwork pattern using 5 different colors according to the chart. Short rows are worked after the yoke colorwork to make the back higher and thus create a good fit. The body and sleeves are knitted in the round in stockinette stitch and both are finished with a ribbed edge.

Please note that colorwork often needs to be knitted on a needle size 0.5–1 mm larger than solid stockinette stitch. Therefore, make a gauge swatch in both colorwork and solid stockinette stitch before you start knitting.

The pattern includes charts with the colors from the brown Celeste Sweater as well as uncolored charts, which can be colored according to your own preferences.

Size Guide

The Celeste Sweater should have a positive ease of approx. 15 cm relative to your bust measurement. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75–80 (80–85) 85–90 (90–95) 95–100 (100–110) 110–120 (120–130) 130–140 (140–150) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. If you, for example, measure 85 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit size XS. A sweater in size XS has a width of 100 cm and will therefore provide a positive ease of 15 cm in the example above.
