Breeze Bag

The Breeze Bag is knitted from the bottom up. The bottom is flat and knitted on double-pointed needles, while the sides of the bag are knitted in lace pattern on a circular needle. At the top, the bag is divided into two parts, and each part is knitted separately to completion. Finally, stitches are picked up along the edges of the bag and a double-knit edge is worked, continuing into the bag's handles. The handles and edges are thus one continuous piece, into which a herringbone tape is finally inserted into the hollow space as reinforcement.

Height: 38 cm (without handles)

Gauge: 25 stitches x 32 rows in lace pattern on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Needles: 4 mm circular needle (60 cm), 3 mm circular needle (60 cm), 3.5 mm and possibly 3 mm double-pointed needles

Materials: 150 g Trio 2 from Isager Yarn (50 g = 175 m) or Hør Organic from Isager Yarn (50 g = 178 m) knitted together with 100 g Merilin from Isager Yarn (50 g = 208 m), approx. 175 cm herringbone tape (2 cm wide) to insert into the handle
