Agnete Cardigan
Couldn't load pickup availability
The Agnete Cardigan is knitted from the top down in stockinette stitch. First, a piece is knitted in double stockinette stitch that will sit at the neck and join with the front edges. Then, stitches are picked up in this piece to continue knitting the back piece. Then, the right front piece and left front piece are knitted. These three parts are joined in the next step to continue knitting the body, which is knitted back and forth in stockinette stitch with front edges in double stockinette stitch. Along the double stockinette front edges, buttonholes are knitted at the same time. Then, stitches are picked up in the armhole and the sleeves are knitted from these stitches.
Make a gauge swatch before you start knitting to find the needle size that gives you the correct gauge. Be aware that the vertical gauge (i.e., number of rows per 10 cm) may vary depending on which yarn you are knitting with. The most important thing is that the horizontal gauge (i.e., number of stitches per 10 cm) is correct.

Size guide
The Agnete Cardigan should have a positive ease of 10-15 cm relative to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured around the body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished cardigan are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. If you, for example, measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A cardigan in size S has a width of 105 cm and will, in the mentioned example, give a positive ease of 15 cm.
