Indy Bodysuit
The bodysuit is crocheted and knitted from the top down in Mandarin Petit.
First, the neckline is crocheted back and forth with increases until it is round, before the work is divided into sleeves, front and back pieces. Next, stitches are cast on for the front and back pieces. It is knitted in the round in stockinette stitch before the work is divided into front and back pieces, and the pieces are knitted separately. The edge is knitted in stockinette stitch from the wrong side, folded towards the right side, and crocheted together with a crochet hook.
Finally, a crochet edge is worked along the back opening and sewn with buttons.
