Sandnes

Sandnes Garn is one of Norway's oldest wool spinning mills. The company was founded in 1888 and is today the only yarn company in Norway that still has the entire manufacturing process on site. Here, the wool arrives freshly shorn and untreated; it is washed, carded, dyed, spun, and wound into skeins. Cotton, merino wool, and alpaca wool are imported and arrive untreated on spools, and are dyed, spun, and wound into skeins at the factory.
