Ragg sock yarns

Meilenweit is Lana Grossa's sock yarn range. The selection is extensive, with thin, medium, and thick yarns in a variety of colours.

They contain either pure wool, merino wool, or blends with cashmere, and always contain approximately 25% polyamide for durability.

8-ply/thick sock yarn is suitable for 4.5–5 mm needles

  150 g is approximately enough for size 38–39

We also have a thicker sock yarn here in Hosuband from Icelandic Istex. Hosuband contains 20% polyamide along with pure Icelandic wool. With 130 metres per 100 grams and 4.5–5 mm needles, you will get a really thick and lovely Icelandic sock. 100 g/skein means you will need 2 skeins for a pair of Icelandic socks.
