le Knit - Lene Holme Samsøe

My name is Lene Holme Samsøe, and I am the person behind leKnit. 
It is a great love of knitting and an equally great desire to create that has led me to my absolute favorite pastime, the design of hand-knitting. 
I love every part of the process - from the many knitting swatches, the choice of yarn, color, and style to the preparation of the knitting pattern itself, where the challenge is to explain everything as logically and precisely as possible.

I have a fondness for simple yet well-executed designs. It should preferably be fairly uncomplicated to knit from my patterns, but the result may well look advanced and difficult! Lace patterns are a good example of this type of design, and it is so wonderful to experience a new knitter's enthusiasm at being able to knit one of my lace patterns without any problems.
