What we see today of the Icelandic yarn is a legacy from the sheep that for 1100 years were exposed to Iceland's harsh climate. The Icelandic wool has a fantastic blend of different fibers. The outer fibers are long and have a fantastic luster while
the inner ones are soft and keep cold and wetness away.
