Ivy Sweater

The Ivy Sweater is knitted from the top down in one piece. The yoke is constructed by first knitting shoulder increases, then sleeve increases, and finally raglan increases. Short rows are worked to shape the neckline. The sleeves are knitted in the round on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop technique.

Size Guide

The Ivy Sweater should have approximately 12 cm of room (positive ease) relative to your bust measurement. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75–80 (80–85) 85–90 (90–95) 95–100 (100 110) 110–120 (120–130) 130–140 (140–150) cm, measured around the body. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front cover of the pattern (note that these measurements only apply if the gauge is maintained). Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if your bust (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm around, you should knit a size S. A size S sweater has a width of 102 cm and will provide 12 cm of room (positive ease) in the example above. A size chart is available here.
