Peer Gynt has been on the market since 1938 and the texture of the yarn has made it a favorite for knitting cardigans. Peer Gynt remains just as popular a yarn today as it was back then.
In autumn 2022, Sandnes launched a thinner version; it is exactly the same yarn with the same excellent properties. Garments in Norwegian wool feel light and become much softer every time you wear them.
Norwegian wool is durable, does not pill, and has very good elasticity, which helps garments retain their shape over time.
Think about the environment: wool is breathable and rarely needs washing, so we recommend airing the garment instead.
