Léttlopi
Léttlopi consists of pure Icelandic sheep's wool of the highest quality. The wool is sourced directly from sheep farmers, treated, spun and dyed at one of Iceland's few remaining spinning mills in Mosfellsbær, which dates back to the 1800s.
The Icelandic wool is spun with two different fibres – the soft, shorter undercoat and the longer, coarser outer coat. This unique composition creates a yarn that is warm while remaining breathable. Your finished garments will be lightweight yet wonderfully cosy. In other words, if you want a beautiful garment that can withstand the Nordic cold, Léttlopi yarn is for you. Plus, there are plenty of wonderful colours to choose from!
Wash at 30°C by hand.
Use a wool detergent and do not use fabric softener! Do not spin-dry or tumble-dry!
We recommend Sonett detergent for wool and silk!
