Alpaca Wool

There is currently a global shortage of alpaca wool. This is because the animals have not been able to be shorn due to weather conditions in South America. We therefore have low stock of certain colours, and replenishment will not be possible until after Easter. Please contact us if the colour you are interested in has low stock to avoid ordering and receiving a different dye lot.

Contents: 60% Alpaca 40% Wool
Weight/length: 50 grams = approx. 100 metres
Recommended needles: 3½ - 5 mm
Gauge: 10 cm = 22 - 19 sts
Washing instructions: 30 °C (wool programme)
 
Sandnes Alpakka Ull is as light as wool and as warm and soft as alpaca. It is a wonderful quality that is suitable for both small and large projects.
The yarn can be machine washed on a wool programme.
Use a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener! Do not tumble dry!
