We want to change that.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBeing able to use our own local raw material and show how beautiful and useful Swedish wool yarn is feels both fun and important.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe wool in the yarn comes from Swedish sheep farms in Skåne and Halland and is spun by Klippan Yllefabrik outside Riga for Järbo.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eUsing Swedish wool in large-scale production is not easy. Everything from the shearing and sorting to spinning the wool is done on a very small scale today. Our hope is that our initiative will encourage both sheep farmers and spinning mills to dare to invest in our fine wool!\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAll shades other than the natural white are dyed on a base of grey Gotland wool, which gives lively and exciting color variations in the yarn. We are extra proud of the color palette ? our goal is for each color to speak for itself as well as be able to match the other colors.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe idea with the collection was to take Swedish wool into the future, by creating stylish garments where the rustic and traditional are combined with a more contemporary design language.
